And just like that, our little trip to Vietnam came to an end ✈️

From the moment the áo dài came out, the Vietnamese flavours filled the room and the first game began, A Trip to Vietnam officially took off 🧳✨

We travelled through different parts of Vietnam from traditional games and cultural activities to good food and new friendships. And of course, no Vietnamese trip would be complete without a little Lô Tô chaos 🎤🎱 Big shoutout to our amazing MCs for bringing the energy, the drama and the iconic calls to the stage 😂👏

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us and made A Trip to Vietnam more than just an event - but a night filled with memories we will be taking home with us 🫶🏻

Big things happen when creative minds collide 💥 Registration for Futura Remix Hackathon is officially OPEN!

🚀 MENTORME FUTURA REMIX HACKATHON 2026 - Australia’s first national, multi-stage AI vibe-coding hackathon has officially landed.

MentorME is bringing Futura Remix across Australia this September, connecting university students and recent graduates to tackle real challenges facing Australian industries and communities through AI.

The competition will run across QLD, ACT, NSW and VIC, before bringing the winning teams together in Sydney for the National Final.

Over three days, teams will define a problem, build an AI-powered solution, work with industry mentors and pitch to a panel of industry judges.

💫 Win your State Round, and your team earns a fully sponsored trip to Sydney to compete at the National Final.

THE NATIONAL JOURNEY:

🔸 QLD | Brisbane | 4-6 September
🔸 ACT | Canberra | 11-13 September
🔸 NSW | Sydney | 18-20 September
🔸 VIC | Melbourne | 25-27 September
🔸 National Final | Sydney | 2 October

Each State Round follows a simple 3-day format:

You do not need a team full of developers. Futura Remix welcomes students from Software Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data, Business, Product, Design, Marketing, Communications and other disciplines. Strong teams bring together different strengths to understand the problem, build the solution and make the idea land.

Throughout the hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Build a real AI-powered project for their portfolio
• Work with students from different disciplines and universities
• Receive feedback and mentorship from industry professionals
• Pitch directly to industry judges, employers and partners
• Compete for a fully sponsored trip to the National Final in Sydney
• Continue building practical experience through the MentorME Fellowship after the hackathon
