This Sunday, we’re coming together to celebrate a very special milestone: 40 years of Our Saviour Lutheran School. 💙

Our school and church community will gather for a Thanksgiving Service at Our Saviour Lutheran Church Aberfoyle Park , to reflect on four decades of learning, faith, friendship and community.

There will also be a special moment as we bury a time capsule prepared by our students, capturing a little piece of Our Saviour in 2026 for future generations to discover. ✨

There is lots to look forward to at Our Saviour this week!

On Monday, students will take part in the RAA Street Smart Workshop, building their knowledge and confidence around road safety.

Then it’s time for a very different kind of learning adventure, with our Year 2/3 students heading off for their much-anticipated camp. The excitement is already building for an experience that is sure to become one of those special school memories they will still be talking about well into adulthood.

We will finish the week by bringing our community together on Sunday for our Celebrating 40 Years Thanksgiving event.

Book Week fun is coming to Building Blocks Playgroup tomorrow! 📚✨

If your little one loves playing dress-ups or digging into the costume box, they are very welcome to come dressed as a favourite character.

No costume? No problem. Our dress-up area will be ready to explore, or they can wear whatever makes them feel happy and comfortable. Whether it’s a cape, a tutu, Batman, Spider-Man or simply themselves, everyone is welcome.

Our Playgroup is free and open to children from birth to five years and their carers. New families are always welcome.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow anytime from 8.50am to 10.50am.

We’ve got a fun week coming up at Our Saviour, and Book Week is kicking things off in style! 📚✨

We’re celebrating a little earlier this year, with camps happening in Week 7, so tomorrow is already shaping up to be a colourful one with our Book Week Dress Up Day and Parade. We can’t wait to see who (or what!) walks through the gates.

On Wednesday, we’ll be welcoming some new faces to the school for our Principal’s Tour, followed by Junior Soccer training on Thursday.

Then on Friday, we’ll finish the week with Building Blocks Playgroup, SHOUT Service and a PFA pizza lunch. 🍕

Lots happening, lots to look forward to. 💙

There’s another busy week ahead at Our Saviour, with plenty of opportunities to learn, connect and come together as a community. 💙

On Monday, our Year 2/3 and 5/6 classes will be sharing some of what they’ve been learning at Assembly. Then we have Senior Soccer training.

Tuesday brings ThinkUKnow for our Year 5/6 students, as well as a little creativity and connection at our Parent Collective Paint ’n’ Sip. 🎨

Later in the week, we have our School Board Meeting, Junior Soccer training, Building Blocks Playgroup, SHOUT Service and Subway Lunch. Plus, on Saturday we have our Working Bee.

Today is Australian Principals Day, and we’re celebrating our wonderful Principal, Mrs Pech. 💙

Everything Mrs Pech does is centred around the happiness, wellbeing and growth of our students, staff and the wider Our Saviour community.

She leads with care, energy and a genuine commitment to making sure every child feels seen, known and supported. She’s also never afraid to have a little fun along the way, even if that means dressing up as a Minion to welcome students back to school! 💛

Mrs Pech, thank you for everything you bring to Our Saviour and for the care you show our community every day.

Today is National Out of School Hours Care Educators Day, and we want to say a very special thank you to the wonderful team at Happy Valley Primary School OSHC. 💙

We know our students who attend always have a great time, whether they are playing, creating, relaxing or spending time with friends.

OSHC educators play such an important role in children’s lives, providing a safe, welcoming and caring place outside of school hours. They also provide invaluable support to families, helping make busy mornings, afternoons and school holidays that little bit easier.

To the Happy Valley OSHC team, and to all OSHC educators, thank you for everything you do for our students and families.

We’ve had a fantastic start to Term 3, and it has been wonderful to see our students back and ready for another term.

There is plenty happening at Our Saviour next week, including soccer training, Playgroup, SHOUT Service and Subway Lunch.

Also, in honour of Global Tiger Day on Wednesday, we thought we’d share a fun fact about these magnificent big cats. Did you know that every tiger has a unique pattern of stripes, just like a human fingerprint? 🐯
