The last months I didn’t have so much time for my own projects and I was really craving for wide space to create.
So I came up with a SOUND•PASSANA

• 5 days
• no phone
• in silence
• only creating sound

Basically creating without distraction.
I did it last week and it was super interesting to witness:

• my blocks and the fear of emptiness. My mind wanted to know what I will do in the next 5 days. I notice that this fear is something that often keeps me away from creating music. But not having the usual distractions, like my phone, I noticed the feeling fades quite quickly and one thing leads to another.

• how long a day lasts, if I’m focused and not using my phone 🤪

• I finally was reading the manuals of my equipment, without this rush within me. Slowly getting to know my instruments feels very good.

• how amazing it feels to improvise. Really feels like swimming in another world. Even though it’s not always beautiful ;)

rounding the summer up with two very special gigs and first times:

• first time playing at .creatures_ - thank you for this opportunity to play a liveset next to this beautiful lake at spirit stage. everyone listening was just lying on the floor. it was a vibe ✨

• first time playing in london. at this wild, immersive party by - thank you for giving me so much creative freedom. I started with a super slow 75 bpm DJ set, then transitioned into my live set and then back to a bouncy DJ set. It definitely was a deep journey :) thank you so much for the invitation &

this week was playing my live set for the first time at a festival - and then actually two different festivals :)

so much energy, time and love went into this live set, into every single track, gathering skills and getting better every time in translating my emotions into music.
the energy in the room was so special and magical. it’s something so beautiful to feel when your creations resonate with other people.

thank you for everyone who was there. thank you for allowing the music to move you.

last week of june 2025 in pictures, sound and words

* finally we had the chance to check out ‘s art
* we were on our first little tour with bella (my van) and we saw lots of cool animals
* it was my last day at university - a new chapter opens up & and I feel excited, but also scared and a bit sad
* and fio visited 🖤
* hosted an ecstatic dance and it felt so good to have 90 minutes space to feel my feelings and explore my inner stories
* at first I felt super sad and I had extreme FOMO, because I wanted to beam myself to fusion to my friends
* but then I asked myself why I decided to stay here - and it was because I wanted to have space and focus to prepare my live set for the first two festivals in july und
* so I decided to make a little art residency at home :) feels so good to have lots of space to create
* also .freidl put her phone & social media ‘addiction’ into beautiful words. I feel that very much as well and decided to only use insta on sundays and also use the day for a recap of the week - so here it is :)

I love to wake up early in the morning. go outside, listening to the birds’ morning songs, smell all the beautiful flowers around me, observe animals waking up, go to the gym or for a walk, get the first sunshine rays of the day. I love it when I look at the time and it is 12 and I feel like I’ve already done so much today. I love the feeling of being productive.

And honestly I have been struggling a bit with the long nights that come with DJing and performing. I felt bad when I was sleeping long and wondering why my body suddenly needs so much sleep. I felt bad, when I couldn’t get up early in the morning.

And I’ve come to realize that I actually do like both worlds. And if I allow myself to switch between both of them it takes off a lot of pressure. There are days when I love to be alone, wake up early and follow my own rhythm and structure. There are other days when I am awake all night and the next day or maybe days my body needs rest. My body needs to recalibrate. And that is fine.

Ich liebe Musik - aber noch mehr liebe ich was Musik mit unserem Körper und unseren Emotionen macht. Wie bestimmte Klänge und Frequenzen Erinnerungen hochholen können die wir in unseren hintersten Stübchen versteckt haben und die Power hat uns mit unserem Innersten und uns miteinander zu verbinden.

Es ist ein Geschenk, das wir uns selber machen können - ein Raum indem wir nix anderes machen außer ganz genau zuhören und zu spüren was die Musik mit uns macht und was in uns passiert.

So happy dass y.lab uns ihren wundervollen Raum dafür zur Verfügung stellt - nächste Möglichkeit am 11.04. um 20:15 - zu buchen über eversports / .lab_ 1090
