ENGLISH FIESTA, what is it?
‎
‎English Fiesta is a large-scale educational and cultural event that celebrates and promotes the English language as a tool for communication, education, and global connection.
‎
‎It brings together students, teachers, professionals, and institutions through activities such as:
‎• Educational workshops and contests
‎• Artistic and cultural performances
‎• Networking sessions and much more
‎
‎OBJECTIVES:
‎• Encourage the practical use of English
‎• Create a space for sharing and innovation
‎• Strengthen English as a key for education, career, and international cooperation
‎
‎This year’s edition will take place on December 20, 2025, in Uíge.

ANELTA Uíge participates in the celebration of the 12th anniversary of MBUTA SCHOOL

Following an invitation from MBUTA SCHOOL, the Angolan English Language Teachers Association (ANELTA), through its provincial vice-coordinator in Uíge, Teacher Avelino, took part in the commemorative ceremony marking the 12th anniversary of that educational institution.

ANELTA’s participation reinforces the association’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the teaching and learning of the English language in the region.

During the event, the vice-coordinator donated teaching materials to MBUTA SCHOOL Center, as a gesture of recognition and encouragement for the continuation of the commendable work the institution has been carrying out in favor of education.

In preparation for the second edition of the largest English language event in Uíge Province, English Fiesta 2025.
The provincial coordination of ANELTA Uíge paid a visit to Muta School with the aim of establishing partnerships that will ensure the success of the event.

The reception was positive, and the school’s management expressed openness to collaboration. During the meeting, ideas and proposals were shared to strengthen the impact of the English Fiesta within the local English-speaking community.

The event is scheduled to take place in December and is being carefully planned to surpass the first edition in several aspects, including the quality of the activities, the diversity of participants, and more.

ANELTA Uíge reaffirms its commitment to promoting excellence in English language teaching and learning across the province and counts on the support of local institutions to make this edition an even more meaningful milestone for teachers, students, and all English language enthusiasts in the region.
