Young Chef Olympiad — the epic point in my career.
An adventure that started reshaping my thoughts toward something far beyond personal success.
Sometimes in life, especially in our professional journey, we need to see the bigger picture.
Mentoring the younger generation has become almost a full-time job for me, with zero income — but full of purpose.
I love it, and I can’t imagine my life without it anymore.
It has become my legacy.
I am truly grateful for the support of my wife , friends and so many people who stand by me in this journey — support I never imagined I would have.
A big thank you to all of you.
What you see in this post is the preparation for YCO 2025 — the 11th edition of the competition, held in India, the largest culinary competition in the world for junior and student chefs.
More than 60 countries come together to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and build lifelong connections. A truly life-changing experience.
Arsen, the champion of the Armenian Young Student Chef Competition 2024, organized by the Armenian Chefs Association, was selected to represent Armenia and raise our flag on the world stage. 🇦🇲
We worked non-stop — no holidays, no birthdays, no Christmas or New Year breaks.
With limited resources but maximum dedication, using the strategies I’ve built over 10 years of mentoring, and with the great support of my colleague Gor, we prepared Arsen to compete among 58 countries at the world’s biggest junior culinary competition.
And the results?
Don’t hurry… I’ll share them in my next post.
Stay tuned.
