⚡ STREACS continues to support the professional development of its researchers through international learning and collaboration.
STREACS researcher Dalita Avanessian took part in the Energy Community Summer School 2026 at POLIS University in Albania, joining 40 young professionals and researchers from 27 countries. This year’s edition was the most competitive to date, with 347 applications from 57 countries.
During the intensive programme, Dalita explored some of the most pressing issues shaping today’s energy transition, including energy geopolitics, energy systems and markets, energy law, security of supply, decarbonisation, and climate policy.
She also introduced fellow participants to STREACS and its research activities, creating new connections and bringing the project into an international exchange of ideas around the future of energy.
🏆 And Dalita’s team won the Energy Debate, putting their newly gained knowledge into practice and receiving certificates for their achievement.
💬 “I’m leaving this experience with new knowledge, meaningful connections, and fresh perspectives that I hope to bring into my ongoing research within STREACS,” Dalita shared.
For STREACS, opportunities like this are also about building stronger researchers, expanding international networks, and bringing new knowledge back into our work.
