🤩We are proud to share that Dr. Sadegh Kaviani from Functional Materials Group participated in the Nanotechnology Conference-MSNC 16-17.04.2026( https://nanosciencesummit.com/ )held in Barcelona, where leading researchers and innovators gathered to discuss the latest advances in nanotechnology, materials science, and sustainable energy technologies.
📌At this international conference, Dr. Sadegh Kaviani presented our recent research entitled:
“Integrating DFT and Machine Learning to Unravel the Role of Ionic Liquids in Enhancing the Stability and Electronic Structure of FAPbBr₁.₁₂₅I₁.₈₇₅ Perovskite Solar Cell”
🔬Our work combines Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations with Machine Learning approaches to investigate how ionic liquids can improve the structural stability, electronic properties, and overall performance of mixed-halide perovskite solar cells. The perovskite itself is obtained experimentally in the group and passed a detailed characterization confirming theoretical results. The study provides new insights into the design of next-generation stable and high-efficiency photovoltaic materials for sustainable energy applications.
This achievement motivates our group to further explore advanced computational and nanomaterial strategies for future clean-energy technologies.
