Yesterday, The Lit 🔥 Project rewarded participants for the “Reading Log Challenge📜📝.” Four students were recognized for their dedication to leisure reading.

Congratulations to our first-grade participants, Jordyn Antonio and Rayne Chambers 🎉🥳. These girls were committed to the initiative and consistently visited the library to get their books to read and log. They also orally shared about what they read.

We also congratulate Beniqua and Salome Wallace of the fourth-grade class, who were eager readers in this reading initiative.

We hope that our students will continue to spread the joys of reading 📚.

Look out for more reading initiatives 📚 and a chance to win 🏆 a prize 🎁

Our Saturday sessions are in full swing. Today our students read with tremendous intonation, improved decoding, and comprehension skills.

Sessions were extremely impressive and exciting. We are anticipating a strong finish at the end of the academic year!

The Lit Project’s week in review📣. Last Tuesday, the Waltham Forest Antigua and Barbuda and Dominica Twinning Association🇦🇬 🇩🇲 (WFTA) visited the Community Center, where The Lit Project hosted a mock session 📚✏️📓 of what is usually done during the Saturday sessions. It was a very interactive and exciting afternoon.

The Lit Project sends thank you to WFTA for the book donations 📚 and for reading to the children. Your contributions have given the children more book options during reading time 🙌. We hope you enjoy reading “Summer Time Fun” just as much as we are enjoying “Coming to England.”

Special thanks to the representatives from the Ministry of Education who showed their support and encouragement to The Lit Project on such short notice.

Sincere gratitude to the Barbuda Council for allowing The Lit Project to utilize the space in the Community Center for sessions!

Special mention to the parents who have been trusting this program over the last couple of months. We appreciate your consistency and support.

Huge shoutout to The Lit Project team members ✨for executing a very productive afternoon.

Celebrating 🎉 the confidence and bravery of our readers!

In honour of “World Read Aloud Day,” The Lit 🔥 Project hosted its first reading competition on February 4th for primary school students. The judges were left in awe by the participants’ outstanding reading capabilities. The reading competition catered to three different categories, and a winner from each category was rewarded with a cash prize, a gift certificate and a gift.

Yesterday, all the participants were rewarded with a “Pizza Party” in recognition of their efforts and reading.

The Lit Project sends thank you to Adonia Henry and the team for leading and executing this reading initiative. We express gratitude to the students and parents who supported and participated in this initiative. Also, thank you to The Glass Lounge Restaurant for sponsoring the prizes for the three winners. Thank you to Brandon Walker and Abraham’s Pizza for sponsoring our “Pizza Party,” your contributions are greatly appreciated. To anyone else who made this initiative a success, The Lit 🔥 Project sends a thank you!
