Direct and Indirect object:
1 - Direct Object
* the first receiver of an action.
* it comes after the verb.
Example; Ali buys a car.
Javid writes a message.
2 - Indirect Object
* the second receiver of an action.
* It comes after the direct object.
Examples; Ali buys a car for Mariam.
Javid writes a message to Ali.

How can we use since and for?
Since: it shows the duration of time within sentences.
For: it shows the period of time within sentences.
Ex: 1 - Ali has taught English SINCE 2010.
2 - Ali has taught English FOR 15 years.
Note: keep in mind that we use SINCE and FOR just with perfect tenses.

The most important English expressions
★ Don't play damb.
خود را به نفهمی نزن.
★ Speak your mind.
حرف دلت را بزن.
★ What good are you.
به هیچ دردی نمی خوری.
★ I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
نمی دانم بخندم یا گریه کنم.
★ I don't know whether to leave or stay here.
نمی دانم بروم یا بمانم.
★ I don't know whether tobe quiet or speak.
نمی دانم حرف بزنم یا ساکت بمانم.
★ Save your breath.
خودت را خسته نکن(حرف زدن بی فایده است).
★ I'm in charge.
من مسئولم.
★ I'm easy.
برایم فرقی ندارد.
★ I'm all ears.
سرا پا گوشم.

Simple past tense
Defination: shows an action which started and ended with in an exact time in the past.
Structure
1 - Tobe verb
S+was/were+obj/comp. AFIRMATIVE S+was/were+not+obj/comp. NEGATIVE
Was/were+sub+objcomp.INTROGATIVE
Examples
Ali was at home last night.
Ali was not at home last night.
Was ali at home last night?
Action verb

Simple Present tense:
The simple present tense is one of the most common tenses in English.
Using: We use the present simple tense to express usual and repeated action, face, event, situation or habit.

Forming the simple present tense:

+ positive S+first form the verb+Object.
- Negative S+ Do/Does+Not+V+object.
? Question Do/Does+S+ V+ Object?
Note, Do use with(I, You, We, They).
Does use with(He, She, It).
1 - I go to school.
2 - I don't go to school.
3 - Do I go to school?
4 - Does she go to school?

Complaing in English
★ I am sorry to bother you.
★ Can you help me with this.
★ I'm afraid there may may be a misunderstanding.
★ I understand it's not your fault.
★ Excuse me, I understand that.
