Past Tense with Daily Life:

Today I woke up at 8:00am.⏰

I made eggs 🍳 and toast🍞 for breakfast.

I did yard work 🏡🎍👨‍🌾 for my neighbor from 9:00am to 12:30pm,

My wife made delicious spaghetti bolognese 🍝 for lunch.

After lunch, I took my dog for a walk. 🐕

Then I recorded, edited, and uploaded my new video 🎬 about true, right, and correct.

At 4:00pm I drove 🚗 my wife to work and then came back home.

Between 5:00pm and 9:30pm, I fed my dog 🍛🐕, updated my YouTube channel, replied to comments on FB/YT, cooked dinner for myself, spoke with my neighbor for a bit, and wrote this post.

The words in capital letters on the left are very informal pronunciations/contractions.

Most native speakers use one ore more of them, but it depends on the person's dialect and also to whom they are speaking.

I don't recommend using them until you are at an intermediate/advanced level, because you need to understand how informal they are, when it is appropriate to use them, and how they make other people feel about you.

These should never be used in any type of formal writing.
