Rahimah ANsari shares her journey: πŸ’™

I am Rahimah Ansari, a Frontend Web Developer from Herat, Afghanistan, with a passion for building modern, user-friendly web applications. I specialize in React, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS, and I enjoy creating clean, responsive interfaces that combine functionality with thoughtful design. Through continuous learning and hands-on projects, I have developed strong problem-solving skills and a growing interest in AI-powered web applications.

During my journey with CodeWeekend, I strengthened my technical foundation by building real-world projects, collaborating with mentors, and applying modern frontend development practices. My capstone project, CatchyReminders, showcases my ability to integrate AI into web applications to create more engaging and enjoyable user experiences.

Before joining CodeWeekend, I was a self-taught developer who spent my time improving my programming skills through online courses, documentation, and personal projects. Despite the challenges of learning independently, I remained committed to growing as a developer and expanding my knowledge.

I believe technology has the power to solve real-world problems and create meaningful opportunities. I am committed to continuous learning, building impactful products, and contributing to the growth of the tech community in Afghanistan.

Small consistent steps lead to remarkable results.

Basira Mehrzad shares her journey: πŸ’™

β€œI am a Web Developer from Afghanistan with a passion for building modern, user-centered web applications and exploring the potential of artificial intelligence. I hold a degree in Software Engineering and am committed to continuous learning, innovation, and solving real-world problems through technology.

I began my professional career as an intern at First Rest Afghanistan, where I successfully completed a one-year internship before joining the company as a full-time Software Engineer. During my time there, I contributed to improving the company's internal software systems, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and helped introduce modern web technologies to create more efficient and user-friendly applications.

Since joining CodeWeekend, I have significantly strengthened my web development and AI skills by building real-world projects using modern technologies. One of my biggest achievements was developing AI-powered web applications that integrate intelligent features into user-friendly interfaces. The program also improved my confidence in solving complex problems, collaborating with other developers, and applying industry best practices to software development.

Before joining CodeWeekend, I was working full-time as a Software Engineer at a private company. During my experience, I realized that the technology industry evolves rapidly and that continuous learning is essential to stay competitive. After leaving my position, I joined the CodeWeekend Web & AI Development Bootcamp to strengthen my technical skills, learn modern technologies, and gain hands-on experience by building real-world projects that would enhance my professional portfolio.

πŸš€ One project. Many unique ideas.

As part of their journey at CodeWeekend, our students took on the challenge of building PollyGlot, an AI-powered translation app.

While the goal was the same, each student brought their own creativity, design style, and problem-solving approach to the project. Every screen reflects dedication, growth, and the confidence that comes from learning by building.

πŸ‘ Congratulations to all our talented students on this milestone! Your hard work and creativity inspire us, and we can't wait to see what you'll build next.
