We, the Filipino scholarship students at Al Qasimia University, are excited to share that admissions for the fully funded scholarship program for SY 2026–2027 are opening soon. We are also here to support you through the application process!

The scholarship at Al Qasimia University is fully funded — meaning it takes care of most student needs while studying here:

• Age requirement: Usually between 16–20 years at time of application.

الحمد لله الذي علَّم بالقلم، علَّم الإنسان ما لم يعلم، سبحانه من وفَّق عباده لطلب العلم، ويسَّر لهم السُّبل حتى أتمُّوا دراستهم وتخرجوا.

فهنيئًا لهم هذا الإنجاز المبارك، وهنيئًا لوالديهم الذين بذلوا الغالي والنفيس، وضحَّوا بالجهد والوقت والدعاء، حتى يروا أبناءهم على منصة التخرج، يقطفون ثمرة التعب والكدّ.

Sa ngalan ng Al Qasimia University - Filipino Women Students, labis naming ikinagagalak na iparating ang aming taos-pusong pagbati sa mga kapatid naming nagsipagtapos ng kanilang pag-aaral dito sa Jāmi‘ah. Tunay na isang napakalaking biyaya ang makapagtapos, bunga ng inyong pagsusumikap, pagtitiyaga, at matibay na pananampalataya.

Nawa’y patuloy kayong pagkalooban ng Allāh ng tawfīq at gabay sa susunod ninyong yugto sa buhay.

نفع الله بكن الإسلام والمسلمين والأمة. نسأل الله أن يجعلكن ممن يتعلّمون العلم ويعملّونه، وممن يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه.

The day of ’Arafah is on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah. This year it’s on Tues, Jun 27th.

You may know that Laylatul Qadr is the most blessed of the last ten nights of Ramadan, and is therefore the best night of the year.

Similarly, the day of ’Arafah is the pinnacle of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah - it is the best day of the entire year

🏔 On this day, millions of pilgrims gather at the plain of Mount Arafat, standing in prayer from Dhuhr to Maghrib, asking for Allah's forgiveness and mercy

The Prophet ﷺ said:

مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ عَبْدًا مِنْ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ
There is no day on which Allah frees people from the Fire more so than on the day of Arafah (Muslim)

⌛️ Fasting on the day of 'Arafah is also highly recommended for those not performing Hajj

When the Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting the day of 'Arafah, he ﷺ said:

يُكَفِّرُ السَّنَةَ الْمَاضِيَةَ وَالْبَاقِيَةَ
It will expiate the sins of the previous and upcoming year (Muslim)

📿 Spend this special day in increased dhikr, seeking forgiveness, and making du'a. Remember, every moment is a chance to turn back to Allah

May Allāh تعالى bless us on the Day of ‘Arafah and forgive our sins!
