In celebration of AUS' Silver Jubilee, we've collaborated with the Central Bank of the UAE to issue 1,000 commemorative silver coins.
The issuance of these commemorative coins aims to celebrate 25 years since the establishment of AUS in 1997, in fulfillment of the vision of its founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed AlQasimi.
Only AUS alumni will be able to acquire the commemorative coins, and the proceeds will be allocated to the scholarship fund, which aims to provide the equivalent of 25 scholarships for 25 students in celebration of AUS’ 25th anniversary.
Stay tuned for more details on how AUS alumni can participate in this initiative.

While the majority of us were able to work from home during the critical time of lockdown, we remain grateful for other people, like our fellow alumni, who were on the front lines as essential workers each day keeping our economy going. We are calling for AUS alumni who were at the front-line fighting COVID-19 in their own communities, to demonstrate our appreciation to all alumni essential workers who contributed in helping us get through these unprecedented times.
Tell us the story of your front-line work during this pandemic, to be recognized in the Walk of Heroes, by August 31.
Let your fellow alumni get to know who made a difference in the fight against COVID-19 and show their support by saying “thank you!”
