Now that we have our teams, it's time for the battles to start, come and support your college team, be a part of their VICTORY.

Students from all colleges in UOS are welcomed to attend with on-site registration starting from 4:00-4:30 PM THIS Wednesday.

See you all there, Certificates and Refreshments will be provided to all attendants, DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE.

If you are interested in voicing your opinion, wanting to be heard and enjoy competing for recognition, certificates and trophies then this debate is the challenge for you and your team.

Topics for the Debate
- Do organizations have the right to lay-off employees because they acquired HIV/AIDS? (Round 1)

College of Medicine versus College of Dentistry

- Should governments enforce an obligatory visible tattoo on people diagnosed with having an HIV infection to protect the community?(Round 2)

College of Pharmacy versus College of Health Sciences.

The topic of the Final round will be revealed 15 minutes before it begins, i.e Finalists will have 15 minutes to Prepare themselves.

Dear UOS peers,

We, the UOS-PHE members are organizing a public speaking competition in the medical and college of health sciences colleges campus at 4:30 PM on the December 7, 2016 under the theme “Raising awareness about HIV/AIDS”,. This competition will run under teams of 2-3 members each who are expected to develop and speak about an innovative plan on how to raise awareness about this topic amongst the University of Sharjah students.
Each team will be given a maximum time limit of 10 minutes to present the topic.
Interested teams should send an email with their names, IDs and college to: [email protected]
The first ten teams will be accepted so make sure you send your names as soon as possible.
Evaluation criteria:
• Creativity and Innovative idea
• Public speaking skills
• Applicability
• Time limit adherence

CERTIFICATES WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL PARTICIPATING & WINNING TEAMS.
