Our Grade 9 students had an action-packed three days on their residential trip to Al Ain! They tackled team-building challenges, joined in outdoor adventures, and filled every moment with energy, laughs, and teamwork.

It was an amazing experience for collaboration, friendship, and making memories that will last long after the trip.

Our students have been making a real difference in their school and community! They’ve been cleaning the roads around the school, supporting and organising events, refreshing walls with a splash of color, and returning lost and found items to their rightful owners. Their teamwork, care, and pride shine through every action.

Service as Action is at the heart of the IB ethos, applying learning to create a positive impact on the world around us.

Our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh International Award students have successfully completed their assessed expedition. Part of a globally recognised programme that empowers young people to develop resilience, leadership and essential life skills through service, skill-building and adventure.

They navigated challenging routes, pushed through fatigue, adapted to unexpected obstacles and supported one another with empathy and determination.

More than just a hike, this was a transformative experience that fostered personal growth, strengthened teamwork, encouraged cultural appreciation and deepened their understanding of the great outdoors.

36 Dwight students represented the school at a national Model United Nations conference last weekend. Our DP MUN Chairs led their committees responsibly, ensuring fair and structured debate, and one of our chairs was recognised as Best Chair in the ECOSOC committee.

Several students received Best Speaker and Best Delegate awards across multiple committees.

All participants represented their delegations with professionalism, delivered inspiring speeches, and contributed with enthusiasm throughout the conference. Their growth at each MUN event is evident, well done to everyone involved.

Our Arabic and Islamic Department, together with the Zayed Crew, proudly hosted our annual Ramadan Assembly. A meaningful and inspiring event that brought our community together to deepen our understanding of the Holy Month, celebrating compassion, gratitude and unity.

Welcome to the Grade 5 Winter Bazaar!

Through their Unit of Inquiry, students explored how money works, why supply and demand matter, and what it takes to plan and run a business. They presented their ideas with confidence, creativity, and a real sense of purpose putting their learning into action in a meaningful, real-world way.

Well done, Grade 5, for an inspiring showcase of teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking!

Our students are in Shanghai, fully immersed in rehearsals for the upcoming global concert Collaborating with fellow Dwight schools from around the world, they’re refining their craft, learning from one another, and preparing to share the stage together. Surrounded by Shanghai’s dynamic energy, this experience is about more than performance, it’s global connection, artistic growth, and making music as one community.

Day 4 and the grand finale of Sports Week! We finished on a high with our Grade 2–5 swim gala. Plenty of house points earned and a huge effort from every student. An outstanding way to wrap up an incredible week of sport.
