We are pleased to announce today that Dr Nawal Al-Hosany is the 2024 President's Award recipient.

This Energy Institute's most prestigious award and bestowed by our President Juliet Davenport HonFEI, the award recognises outstanding leadership in the energy sector and is made on an international basis to an individual whose work has brought benefit to society.

As the UAE’s Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Dr Al-Hosany is at the forefront of global energy transition work, most recently during COP28 UAE in her home nation. Dr Al-Hosany is also a committed campaigner championing women in the sector.

Dr Nawal Al-Hosany will speak as the guest of honour at the dinner concluding International Energy Week, taking place 27-29 February 2024.
