A year ago this month, one of Supreme Group's employees visited Pouponniere 2 in the Bamako District, Mali. This small but much needed orphanage was well supported when it was opened in 2009, but sadly not today. Jason spent time with the volunteers and very small humans, where he was exposed to many stories of survival in their tiny lives.
None more reality hitting than that of a baby girl, who at just 10 days old already had an IV in her tiny hand. This tiny new born was found in 37 degrees heat under a pile of bricks by local people who thought her tiny cries were that of a stray cat and had called the Police to her rescue.
On March 28, Jason will be returning to Mali to check up on this little girl and the rest of the children, and to see what Supreme Foundation can possibly do for them in the future. In the mean time, we would love him to be able to take some clothing, toys or baby supplies with him to donate. If you can help please contact [email protected] today. Thank you.
