The School of Engineering at the American University in Dubai offers undergraduate programs leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Our curricula are supported by state-of-the-art labs and facilities, a diverse group of faculty with outstanding expertise, and solid links with the professional community. With local and international accreditations in place, and through a broad education grounded in cultural diversity and technical excellence, our graduates continue to be highly sought at both the regional and global levels. The School provides students with a unique opportunity to experience American-style engineering education in one of the fastest growing and most diverse metropolitan areas in the world. Strategically situated in the west suburbs of Dubai, the AUD campus adjoins Media City, Internet City and Dubai Marina, and is located within a mile from the Palm Jumeirah and Jebel Ali Free Zone. A number of scholarships are available on a competitive basis at the undergraduate level, most prominently HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Scholarships which cover between 50% and 100% of student tuition. At the graduate level, teaching assistantships are available for students wishing to pursue the Master of Science in Construction Management of a full-time basis. Student exchange and short-term study-abroad opportunities are available for AUD’s undergraduate and graduate students through exchange agreements with universities in the US and Europe.
