We were proud to welcome Lando Norris, McLaren F1 driver, multiple Grand Prix winner, and one of the standout talents of his generation for a truly inspirational visit to Esol Education’s American School of Bahrain. The energy in the room was absolutely exhilarating! Lando took time to sign merchandise for ASB’s memorabilia collection, deliver a brief address, and join students for a short Q&A that offered insights into competing at the highest level of motorsport. A special thank you to Mumtalakat for putting this experience on pole position, and bringing the right people together to deliver a day our community will always remember.

We are proud to recognize Hamza Abdelkarim, a Grade 12 student at AIS Egypt - West Campus , on a remarkable achievement: becoming the first Egyptian footballer to join FC Barcelona, with a move to Barça Atlètic announced in early February 2026. Hamza’s journey from our school community in Cairo to the pitches of Catalonia is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when talent is matched with discipline, guidance, and opportunity.

Esol Education is excited to announce Futuronix V023, a Robotics Challenge with , and on Wednesday May 3, 2023. One of our first Esol school network tech competitions, the challenge allows students to challenge themselves with cutting-edge ! Students in Grade 8 and 9 will participate in a range of customized activities, using cutting-edge resources such as Lego Spike Prime, Zumi and Sphero. The workshop has been designed to encourage hands-on learning, introducing the concepts of , and . Students will then test-drive their new skills with exciting team challenges!
