Reading original articles from magazines and journals is difficult, especially if you haven’t spent much time reading. It all comes down to vocabulary, the more words you know and understand, the easier it is to grasp the general idea. (“Generation AI” - article from “The Economist”)

It also helps a lot to explain the things you’ve learnt; explaining words, collocations and new terms will help you to understand and learn them faster. If there is no one you can explain it to, not a problem; take a pen and a piece of paper, and start writing the explanations in your own words.

Using collocations in your essay will help you to sound more natural. On my page you will find a lot of videos with useful collocations and if you need help with your essay, there is a writing course and th link is my bio.

In 2019 it was my third time taking the IELTS exam, and speaking as much as possible is the 1st advice I give my students when they don’t have enough time to prepare, but if you do have some time then increase your input, don’t like reading you can always watch and listen to podcasts for example
