We don't ban AI from students. We teach them to use it honestly. π
Three habits we build with learners:
1. Ask, don't copy β use AI to explain, then write it yourself.
2. Always check β AI gets things wrong; verify before you trust.
3. Show your thinking β the process matters more than the answer.
This is the digital literacy employers and universities will expect. Better they learn it now, with guidance.

Marking eating your weekends? Try this. π
Feed AI your success criteria and a student response, then prompt:
"Give feedback against these criteria: two strengths and one specific next step, in language a Grade 6 student understands."
You stay in control of the judgement β AI just helps you write it faster and more consistently across 30 books.
Always read and adjust before it reaches the student. The professional call is still yours. β

Myth: "AI will replace teachers." β
Reality: AI replaces tasks, not teachers. β
It can draft, summarise, and sort. It can't read the room, spot the child who's struggling quietly, or decide what a class actually needs today.
The teachers who thrive won't be replaced by AI β they'll be the ones who use it to spend less time on admin and more time with students.
That's the whole reason we exist. π

β and neither is the way you teach it. π
We train teachers on Claude specifically because it's built with safety and thoughtful use in mind β a good fit for a classroom.
But the tool is only half of it. Our training is teacher-led and inspection-aligned, so staff learn to:
β’ Use AI to support learning, not shortcut it
β’ Model honest, responsible use for students
β’ Keep the professional judgement where it belongs β with the teacher
Done this way, AI makes good teaching more visible, not less human. π

"Will using AI hurt us in inspection?" π
The opposite β when it's done well.
Inspectors want to see personalised learning, timely feedback, and students who think critically. Used right, AI helps you evidence all three:
β’ Faster, more consistent feedback loops
β’ Tasks pitched to each learner's level
β’ Students questioning and checking AI output, not copying it
The key word is purposeful. AI should make good teaching visible, not replace it.
Want our inspection-aligned AI checklist? Comment "CHECKLIST" and we'll send it over. β
