One of the biggest mistakes I see during exam season is believing that more hours always mean better results.

Many people think spending more hours studying automatically leads to better results. In my experience, that's not how it works. Exams are usually less about how "smart" you are and more about how well you prepare.

Grades 10 and 11 are just the beginning. More important than memorizing formulas is learning discipline, managing stress, and building consistent study habits—skills that will help long after school.

My advice is simple: find balance. Study with purpose, take breaks, keep doing the things you enjoy, and don't burn yourself out. Learn how to learn, and you'll benefit from that for years to come.

Many students aren’t actually “bad at Math.” Most of the time, they’re just missing one key concept. And everything after that starts to feel difficult.

I’ve seen how going back and rebuilding that foundation can really change things, not just grades but confidence too.

Has there ever been a subject that suddenly felt hard for you (or your child)?
