The world would be a much better place if people took themselves less seriously and started to have some fun and laugh.

Science says:
Laughter can generate a stress relieving effect on the person

Enhances the cardiovascular system and the endorphins in the brain
Helps with muscle relaxation
Improves the immune system
Improves mood
it's highly contagious.

If you need a quick mood booster simply laugh.
Make some fun of you, lighten up, shake off that extra weight given by responsibilities, bills, annoying people in your life. just laugh.

You can simply step in front of the mirror and start laughing at yourself. Trust me. Do it every day, first thing in the morning, for 30 seconds and then feel free to thank me later.

And... it costs you absolutely NOTHING.

Sunday is "World's Kindness day". I like to think that before becoming kind to others we have to learn to be kind to ourselves. It's very simple, it's like telling a child what to do and then showing a completely different behaviour. it's inconsistent. When was the last time you showed pure kindness to yourself? Who was the last time you cut yourself some slack. In my work I have realised that women have generally speaking, more issues with this. Being so focused on providing the right care, the right attention, the right effort, bringing kids to school, going to work, rushing to buy groceries, feeling bad for not having time to exercise, constantly feeling like "I am failing at..."
It's just too much. In a world filled with Instagrammable perfection, it's about time to show some kindness to ourselves and be a role model for that. How are you going to be kind to yourself this Sunday and in the days to follow?

Meet Mochi. It's my cat. I have never had a cat before. What a fascinating animal! I think it is very entertaining when they explore the world with incredible curiosity. This is not a case of "curiosity killed the cat" but an inspiration to be genuinely interested in the people around us, in the things we see every day.

You could practice by stopping for a moment to observe the details of a flower, of what you can see outside the window, or anything else you see every day but pay little, to no attention to. There are many things and unfortunately also many people we give for granted.

How would you feel if you spent 5 minutes of your time having a chat with that colleague you barely speak to? How would your relationship change if you spent 5 minutes listening to your partner with absolute undivided attention? How would they feel? How would you feel? How would your coffee taste if you put your phone down ad closed your eyes while sipping it? Just 5 minutes. it's really nothing in the big picture, but it would definitely make a tremendous impact.

Try to stop looking at people and things from the "I already know" point of view. You will notice how they will suddenly reveal parts of them that you didn't see before. Those parts were there before... you just didn't notice.

I hear people say "I'm not creative", then one day as I was chatting with a client and working on the wheel of life I asked him "what is creativity to you?". He thought about it for a moment and then came up with the most beautiful answer: "creativity is finding solutions to problems".

I loved it! I think it's a very appropriate answer and it makes an enormous amount of sense. We have been taught that creativity lives in the world of arts. I must admit I was, most of the time, believing the same. Coaching sessions for me are such an amazing place to be, because my clients bring incredible value to the table. It's truly amazing watching them, deeply immersed in their thinking process, while answering the questions I ask.

That itself is a creative process.

What is creativity for you? how do you express it?

A friend of mine got injured while playing Padel on Friday. We chatted about the impact of this event on her, and she was stressed about not being able to exercise for the next 4 weeks while she is on crutches.

We had a very insightful chat on how exercising is important in her life. She thinks that it helps her release stress, tension and gain the energy needed to face the day. I have to agree with her, and so does science. unfortunately many people, even health professionals, underestimate the importance of physical activity. There is evidence suggesting that exercise is effective in improving mood as it increases blood circulation to the brain The limbic system is what controls motivation and mood and the hippocampus, as well is responsible for mood and motivation.

Regular exercise:
increases the quality of sleep
relieves stress
positively affects mood
reduces tiredness
enhances focus
helps with weight management
influences cholesterol by lowering it
increases the quality of s*x

If you exercise in the morning, you will feel more energetic throughout the day and less likely to loose your temper in difficult or stressful situation. you are basically more in control of yourself.

I have met people who introduced themselves as someone with anger issues, who found paramount value in exercise for anger management.

What works for me is weight lifting, yoga and Padel. I find that each one of these contributes to my life in different ways and with different results, creating an amazing synergy of positive effects.

What physical activity do you practice? If you don't what is stopping you?

Let’s talk about Stress.

We all know that stress can be a real drain on our energy, and it makes us feel like we're doing everything "wrong." But what if you could use your stress to your advantage?

Stress is a powerful motivator. When you feel like you're under pressure, it's easier to get things done—even if those things are just little things like making sure your lunch is packed for the day or calling your mom for help with a project at work.

But stress isn't the only thing that can affect your life—you have control over how much of a toll it takes on you! Here are some ways you can use stress as a motivator:

1. Think about what's at stake. What are the stakes? Are they high enough to motivate you? If not, then there's no point in stressing about them.

2. Be aware of your surroundings and how they affect your body and mind. This helps keep you on track with your goals and helps you stay motivated throughout the day.

3. Do something active during breaks or vacations! This will help reduce stress levels while still keeping you active and healthy!

How are you coping with stress? Let’s talk about it.

It’s hard to build healthy habits.

And I get it. I’ve been there.

You want to be healthy and in shape, but it feels like you can’t make that happen—you feel like you just don’t have the time, or the energy, or maybe even the motivation to get yourself there. But here’s the thing: you CAN make changes. You can start with small tweaks that will lead to bigger ones over time. For example, cleaning out your closet (you don't have to go through everything! Just make sure the clothes you keep are "good" clothes—ones that make you feel good when you wear them). Or make time to eat your breakfast every morning before work.

These things will add up and become habits that will help you become healthier and happier (and even more successful!).

You don't have to do this alone. Book an appointment today and let me guide you through this self-development journey.

The number one mistake clients make is not having someone to hold them accountable.

Whether you're a new client or an established one, when you make the decision to take action on your goals, it's important to have someone who can help you stay on track and make sure you get where you want to go.

As a holistic coach, I know how important it is for people to feel supported while they're working toward their goals. It’s time to make a sound investment in your business and personal growth. Find the clarity, confidence, and encouragement you need to achieve your goals.

Let me help your business grow and become more successful in the process!

Productivity Tips for CEOs

There are so many things that can get in the way of you performing your best. It's easy to feel overwhelmed or stressed out by the demands of your job, and it can be hard to keep up with all the things that need doing.

1. One of the best things you can do to stay healthy and productive is to make sure you're getting enough sleep. A good night's sleep helps you feel more energized, which means you'll be able to focus and do your best work. You'll also be able to better handle stress, which is really important when it comes to being a leader!

2. Another essential habit is exercising regularly. Exercise helps boost your energy levels, which makes it easier for you to stay focused and productive during the day. It's also great for relieving stress, which is something we all experience from time to time—and it doesn't have to mean going on a run at midnight! Instead, try taking a walk around the block after dinner or in the morning before work, or even if it’s just making sure you take 5 minutes each day just for yourself.

Try them out and let me know if these tips helped!

Everybody needs help once in a while.

You're doing well in your career. You're making progress at work, and you're making progress in your personal life as well. But something still seems to be missing—something that could help you achieve more.

Coaching can help you take a step back and make time for yourself—and that's only one of the benefits!

In this post, we'll break down some ways that coaching helps your career and personal life:

1) It allows you to focus on yourself and your needs.

2) It helps you get clear about what kind of professional development will help you achieve your goals.

3) It allows you to identify gaps in your knowledge or skillsets so that they can be filled with coaching or training.

4) It helps you build relationships with other people who are also working towards their goals (and who may also be looking for the same kind of resources).
