Earlier this week, we attended a teacher training session focusing on various Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches. Among these, engaging in activities such as playing, creating, and modeling with clay emerges as one of the paramount techniques. Clay serves as a cornerstone in fostering children’s creativity and cognitive development. Its tactile nature encourages sensory exploration, fine motor skill refinement, and spatial awareness. Moreover, the open-ended nature of clay allows for limitless possibilities, nurturing children’s imagination and problem-solving abilities !!
