31/12/2025
As 2025 comes to a close, today feels like a quiet pause between everything that was and everything that’s still possible. This year taught lessons we didn’t expect, brought moments that challenged us, and gave memories that will stay longer than we realized at the time. There were wins worth celebrating, losses worth learning from, and growth that happened even when it didn’t feel obvious.
We showed up, we tried, we changed, and we kept going — and that matters. As we turn the page to a new year, may we carry forward the strength, gratitude, and clarity 2025 gave us, and leave behind what no longer serves us.
Here’s to closing this chapter with , and into the next one with hope. Goodbye, 2025. You were a year we’ll remember.

✨ The Legend of the 30-Day Notice ✨
In the grand, fluorescent-lit kingdom of Corporateville, there existed a sacred ritual known as “The 30-Day Notice Period.”
Every time an employee decided they could no longer survive another meeting titled “Quick Sync”, they would march bravely to HR and whisper the magic words:
𝐈’𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
HR, of course, would nod solemnly and retrieve the holy document titled:
𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝: 30 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 (𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥)..
Legend said that during these 30 days, two miraculous things would occur:
1. Knowledge transfer would happen.
2. A replacement would be found.
But everyone in Corporateville knew the truth.
𝐃𝐚𝐲 1–5: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞
Your manager receives your resignation and immediately transforms into a philosopher:
“Thirty days is plenty. We’ll transition everything smoothly.”
Meanwhile, you’re quietly deleting 17 versions of the same spreadsheet titled **“final_final_REAL_final.xls.”**
𝐃𝐚𝐲 6–15: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
HR emails you a list of tasks to hand over,
which, surprisingly, resembles “your entire job description plus three responsibilities you didn’t even know you had.”
You hold handover meetings.
People nod.
People take notes.
People ask the same question again the next day.
You smile professionally while thinking, “Ah yes, delusion. My old friend.”
𝐃𝐚𝐲 16–25: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞
You try to work, but everyone treats you like a walking houseplant.
“Can you still attend this meeting?”
“Do you still need access to your email?”
“What exactly do you do again?”
At this point, the only productive task achieved is selecting your farewell cake flavor.
𝐃𝐚𝐲 26–29: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫
Suddenly, people you’ve never met appear to say:
“I heard you’re leaving! We never worked together, but I always liked your… energy.”
You spend half your day opening goodbye emails that start with “Per my last message” and end with “Wish you all the best.”
𝐃𝐚𝐲 30: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞
You hand in your laptop, your access badge, and the company pen you’ve “accidentally” been using for two years.
HR shakes your hand with ceremony and says,
“We’ll stay in touch.”
You both know this is the greatest delusion of all.
And as the office door closes behind you, you realize:
The 30-day notice period isn’t professional.
It’s a beautifully choreographed corporate fantasy.
A month-long performance art piece.
A polite goodbye wrapped in chaos.
And that, dear reader, is how the Kingdom of Corporateville maintains the legend, one delusional notice period at a time.

Whenever you leave a job, your company will find a replacement before your notice period ends.
You could be the CEO of a company and yet the board will find a replacement sooner than you think. The point is, no matter how critical your role is, someone will always replace you. So, stop believing yourself to be irreplaceable at work. Because no one is.
You are only irreplaceable at home, as a daughter, son, partner, or a parent. So, work hard, give your best, but don’t kill yourself on deadlines and late nights. Instead, save some of your best for the people waiting for you at home.

💕 Pinktober: Standing Together for Breast Cancer Awareness 💕
Every day is a colourful day but last week my colours turned , as i came together to support a cause that touches so many lives. 🎀
This month holds deep meaning for me personally.
I lost my aunt and have seen someone very close go through the fight against breast cancer. Watching their strength reminds me how vital awareness, support, and early detection truly are.
💗 Some facts that remind us why this fight matters:
* Every year, about 2.3 million women around the world are diagnosed with breast cancer.
* Sadly, over 670,000 women lose their lives to this disease annually.
* That’s roughly “one woman every minute”, a number we must work together to change.
(Source: World Health Organization, IARC 2024)
But there’s hope 🌸 — more and more women are detecting this disease early, and survival rates are rising thanks to awareness, screening, and community support.
Last week, i wore pink not just as a colour, but as a “commitment”, to honour those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and celebrate the warriors who’ve survived. 💪
Let’s continue spreading love, knowledge, and courage.
To all the incredible women around us, more power and love to you!💕
