After demonstrating their understanding and following the correct safety procedures, each student received a certificate to mark their achievement and an important step towards becoming confident and responsible scientists in the lab. 🔬

From our youngest learners discovering the sounds that build their first words, to our Secondary students exploring ideas, perspectives and stories through literature, literacy is part of every chapter of life at DBSJ.

This International Literacy Day, we celebrate the reading, writing, conversations and creativity happening across our classrooms every day, building confident communicators and curious learners along the way.

Yesterday, we welcomed our Year 7 parents for an Information Session focused on the year ahead and the Secondary experience at DBSJ. Our team shared further insight into learning, pastoral support, Arabic, Sport and Inclusion, helping parents understand the routines, expectations and opportunities that will shape their child’s journey through Year 7. It was a valuable opportunity to connect, ask questions and continue building a shared understanding between school and home as our students settle into Secondary.
