Feeling pushy has nothing to do with the tactics you are using…
Sales is one of the most important parts of a business
Without sales, you don’t have a business. You have a passion that takes a hell of a lot of time, energy and commitment with zero ROI
For a lot of coaches, consultants and service providers they avoid sales online because the feelings it brings up
“I feel desperate”
“Pushy”
“I feel like I’m annoying people”
“Who am I to sell”
If this is how you view sales well, of course you are going to avoid any part of it!
Selling doesn’t need to feel icky
In fact, if you beleive in yourself, your service and your ability to get the client the results you talk about then selling is something you look forward to
Because it’s a chance for you to serve someone who could do with your help!

Let me ask you something ⬇️
When you go to reach out to a potential client, follow up with a warm lead or have a sales conversation, what happens in your head?
For most coaches, consultants and service providers it sounds something like this.
“I don’t want to seem pushy”
“What if they think I only care about the money”
“I don’t want to be a sleezy sales person”
“If my content is good enough they’ll come to me”
These feel like honest self awareness. Like you’re just being real about who you are.
But sneakily, they are not.
They are limiting beliefs. And every single one of them is quietly blocking you from taking the actions that would actually get you a client.
Your beliefs are not your fault. But they are your responsibility.
You were not born with them. You learned them.
From what you were taught about money growing up.
From the pushy salespeople you watched and decided you’d never be like.
From the time someone said no and your brain filed it as proof that putting yourself out there is dangerous.
Those experiences created a filter And now every time you go to take action in your business that filter kicks in and tells you it’s not safe.
So you wait. You hope. You tell yourself your content will do the selling for you.
And you get to the end of another month wondering why consistent clients feel so out of reach.
Here’s how I like to look at sales because this is what makes it easy.
Sales is not something you do to someone.
It is a dance of curiosity, connection and confidence.
You have been having conversations your whole life.
The only thing making sales feel different is the story running in the background of your head.
Change the belief and selling just becomes a part of the service you provide.

You know you need to get visible. But every time you go to post, the self doubt kicks in. Who am I to say this. What will people think. So you don’t post. No visibility means no new eyes on your business. Ever!
You know you need to generate leads. But reaching out feels pushy. Starting conversations feels awkward. So you wait for people to come to you. They don’t.
Your pipeline stays empty.
You know you need to have sales conversations. But the fear of rejection is louder than the desire to sign a client.
So you avoid it. Or you show up apologetic and underconfident and lose the sale anyway.
You know you need to sign clients consistently. But inconsistent action creates inconsistent results. And inconsistent results confirm the story you already believed.
