One trade shouldn’t rewrite your whole plan.
A fresh win can make you feel unstoppable. A recent loss can make you question everything.
That’s recency bias, when the latest outcome starts to feel more important than the bigger picture.
Before changing your strategy because of one result, it can help to ask:
📊 Was the setup valid?
📝 Did I follow my trading plan?
⚖️ Was the risk managed properly?
🔍 Am I giving one trade too much importance?
A single win or loss doesn’t tell the whole story. Looking at the process over a larger sample can give you a clearer picture.
