Sousan Razzouk has over 14 years of experience in mental health. She currently practices as a behaviour analyst, ACT practitioner, EMDR therapist and an IFS Level 1 Practitioner. Sousan has experience across the lifespan, with a variety of diagnoses, and across different countries (e.g., Lebanon, USA, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, etc.). She brings deep passion to her work as she believes it is her mission in life to help others’ mental health and life fulfilment, increase awareness and de-stigmatization, and share her knowledge and experience with likeminded professionals.

I have seen this video numerous times circulating on social media. However, I don’t think it’s shown enough. One should NEVER blame the survivor, not for their freeze response (a survival mechanism that kicks in during traumatizing situations), not for lack of reporting (especially if you have a broken system that re-traumatizes and lets down victims over and over again), and a broken society that still buys into the R**e Myth and other harmful attitudes.
