performances, concerts and masterclasses. Geoff Sinker, our principal head teacher, has extensive teaching and performing experience worldwide including UK, the USA, and the UAE. It has always been his ambition to open a contemporary music academy in Dubai. At the DMA we want to fully immerse students of all ages in the world of modern music. From Rock to Pop through Jazz to Heavy Metal. The instructors at the Academy have been playing music professionally most of their adult lives, they can pass on to our students not only their musical knowledge but also their insider perspective of the music industry. We are offering private lessons and group courses for Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, and Vocals. Our Rock band courses will bring together students to experience the thrills and spills of being part of a band. There are also lessons on the Music Media side of the business with courses on Recording and Mixing and the art of a DJ. More than anything else, the DMA is a fun place to be part of. We encourage all our students to feel part of the Academy and to contribute their ideas and interests in music back to our community. The Dubai Music Academy isn’t just for today’s music it’s also for tomorrow’s music!
