Our Academy is proud to share that Matthew Williams, Project Manager for Sports Management and Events at Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches, joined the SPIA Awards 2026 as a judge alongside leading sports industry experts 🏆

It was an honour to witness the incredible talent, innovation, and passion showcased across the UAE sports industry.

Congratulations to all nominees and winners, and thank you to the SPIA team for delivering such an outstanding event. We would like to also thank the UAE Ministry of Sports and Abu Dhabi Sports Council for the valuable discussions on the future of sport in the region.

We were also delighted to welcome special guest Alistair Overeem, whose presence reflected the growing global reach of the UAE sports ecosystem, further reinforcing the relevance of our Master’s in Sports Management and Events in connecting education with real-world industry excellence.
