The PI-SPE Student Chapter continues with her scholarly and scintillating presentation on "Oil and Gas in Emirates" by Mr. David G Heard who shared his wealth of experience in a rather exhilarating and simplistic manner that captured the diversifying audience attentions. The attendees were fulfilled as it was worth the time sidelined for the amazing and colourful slides described by Mr. Heard, they could only ask for more. We thank you all for attending and we promise to bring more of this.

Distinguishable faculty turned up for the event as well as the ever ready believing students. We appreciate all the efforts from all the Judges, contestants and the audience to make this a successful event. Just as if the Offshore Das Island visit wasn't enough to get our members credit, the SPE-PI surged further to beat the pre-existing records of travails. We also organized an OFFSHORE Zakum Field excursion for our members spanning across the engineering disciplines at the petroleum institute. It was an adventurous one to beat their imagery. The students were stunned at the dexterity with which each modules were laid to perform designated functions as they were shown around the plant. We promise better trips and we are always to open to your suggestions.

To all the obliging members of the Renowned SPE-PI student Chapter. After beating out the stumbling block of the logistics control of the much awaited Offshore Abu Dhabi Marine Company in a fierce contest (Kidding), the inextinguishable attributes of the SPE-PI Chapter President supported by his executives, has produced the first ever students' visit to OFFSHORE DAS ISLAND in Abu Dhabi. They were warmly welcomed on the platform, given presidential tour and educated immensely to surpass their expectations. The sky happens to be our stepping stones at the chapter, we make your imaginations a reality. We will strive hard not to fall behind your supposition. Below are some the pictures for your feed.

Dear Friends and Well Wishers,
The Petroleum Institute Student Chapter has surpassed yet another outstanding expectation by participating with a travel proposal for the TOTAL Dream ticket grant offered by TOTAL. The representatives of the Chapter emerged victoriously as one of the 10 recipients of the grant among the 39 applicants coming from 18 countries. The grant is a €4,079.92 in funding for the travel proposal. The proposal is to travel to Oman to visit Sultan Qaboos university, Petroleum Development Oman and semail ophiolite. The trip will be for 7 days from the 14th until the 21st of May 2016.
This probably is the first time the chapter has participated in such competition and won. We urge our members to make good use of the great activities on TOTAL-Campus website. Thanks to Mr. Khurshed for pointing out this one. We hope to see your impact in future.
