Mersat Holdings is profoundly honoured to share a deeply memorable moment from yesterday in Abu Dhabi, where our Managing Director, V Joseph Valliyaveettil, and his family were blessed with the opportunity to meet His Beatitude Aboon Mor Baselios Joseph I, the newly elevated Catholicos of India and supreme head of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church.

His Beatitude’s presence radiated humility, spiritual strength, and a rare depth of wisdom. His life of devotion—as Joseph Mor Gregorios and now as Catholicos—stands as a powerful testament to leadership rooted in compassion, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the faithful. Hosting him in Abu Dhabi is an honour for the entire community, and a moment of great inspiration for us as an organisation.

This historic visit was made possible through the remarkable leadership of His Grace Mor Eusebius Kuriakose, Patriarchal Vicar of the UAE & Gulf Region and Metropolitan of the Delhi Diocese.
His Grace’s tireless efforts, strategic vision, and pastoral commitment ensured every aspect of the Catholicos’ visit was organised with excellence and reverence. His Grace is a true blessing to the Syriac Orthodox Church in the Gulf, consistently guiding the community with wisdom, clarity, and deep spiritual conviction. Mersat Holdings extends heartfelt respect and gratitude for his extraordinary service.

The gathering was further blessed by the presence of Rev. Fr. Tiju Varghese, who recently completed an impactful three-year tenure as the Vicar of the Abu Dhabi Jacobite Church. His years of ministry brought unity, spiritual enrichment, and strong community bonding. We honour his dedication and extend our prayers for continued blessings in all his future missions.
