Grateful for the Gift of Growing Together ๐ŸŒฟ

Feeling deeply thankful for the privilege of journeying alongside families who help shape my sonโ€™s walk with God. What a blessing it is that we not only share the same parenting season, but also grow together in faith, prayer, and understanding.

Every conversation and moment of connection reminds me that God places people in our lives so we can build one another up - not just as parents, but as fellow disciples raising the next generation of believers.

As we discern the heart and spiritual journey of our teens, may we find strength, encouragement, and renewed purpose - trusting that God is at work in every story, every home, and every heart.

Through each step, He reveals more of Himself - guiding our children, shaping our families, and anchoring us in His perfect love and wisdom.

โœจ โ€œAs iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.โ€ โ€” Proverbs 27:17

Discipleship goes beyond my children - it reaches their sphere of influence.

โœ… Get ready with your and as well..

๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ‘‰โ€œBe Ready โ€” Spiritually and Physicallyโ€
My friend, the Bible reminds us in Matthew 24:44, โ€œSo you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.โ€

๐Ÿ‘‰ Earthquakes may shake the ground beneath us โ€” but the greatest event that will shake the whole world is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Just as we prepare an emergency go bag for disasters โ€” filled with water, food, flashlight, first aid, and important documents โ€” we must also prepare our spiritual go bag for eternity.

๐Ÿ’ซ Whatโ€™s inside your spiritual go bag?

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Faith in Jesus Christ โ€” for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

๐Ÿ™ Repentance โ€” turning away from sin and walking in righteousness.

๐Ÿ“– Godโ€™s Word โ€” your daily strength and guide.

๐Ÿ’– Love and forgiveness โ€” for we cannot meet the Lord with hatred in our hearts.

๐Ÿ’ฏ Being ready for an earthquake may save your life on earth.
But being ready for Jesus will save your soul for eternity.

๐Ÿฅณ So yes โ€” keep your go bag ready beside your doorโ€ฆ

๐Ÿฅฐ But keep your heart ready before the Lord.
Because the signs of His coming are clear, and the time is near.

โœจ โ€œHe who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.โ€ โ€” 1 John 3:3

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help us prepare not only our homes but our hearts.
Teach us to live wisely, to stay watchful, and to walk in Your truth every day.
When the earth shakes, let our faith stand firm in You.
And when You come again, may You find us ready.

In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen. ๐Ÿ™
โœ๏ธ
โ€œThe Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and give you peace.โ€ โ€” Numbers 6:24โ€“26

As an intentional Christian homeschooling mom, teaching s*x education to young children (ages 4โ€“8) means keeping it ๐š๐ ๐ž-๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ž, ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐†๐จ๐โ€™๐ฌ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ, ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐›๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ข๐ซ ๐›๐จ๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ.

Here are ๐ฉ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ you can do this:

2. ๐‘ผ๐’”๐’† ๐‘ท๐’“๐’๐’‘๐’†๐’“ ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’Ž๐’†๐’”

โ€ข Frame modesty not as shame, but as honoring God with our bodies.

As a Christian mom, Iโ€™ll be honestโ€”my body doesnโ€™t look the same as it once did. I was thinner before, but motherhood has left me with extra weight, stretch marks, and physical imperfections that I once struggled to accept. For a while, I tied my worth to how I looked on the outside.

But God reminded me that my true value is not measured by the scale, the mirror, or the worldโ€™s standards of beauty. My worth is found in ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐žโ€”in the heart He is shaping, in the love I pour into my family, and in the character He is refining within me. โœจ

To every woman out there:
โœ”๏ธ Love yourself in your current figureโ€”your body tells the story of life, sacrifice, and love.
โœ”๏ธ Donโ€™t let comparison steal your joy; God created you fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14).
โœ”๏ธ Remember, beauty fades, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised (Proverbs 31:30).

Letโ€™s embrace the truth that ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž, from the God who sees us not as the world does, but through eyes of love and grace. ๐ŸŒท

As a Christian mother, Iโ€™ve learned that raising teenagers is both a challenge and a blessing. Our teens are growing in independence, yet deep down, they still long for our guidance, love, and prayers.

One of the greatest gifts we can give them is an ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐š๐Ÿ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž - where they know they can share their struggles without fear of judgment, and where we listen with both ears and heart.

But more than just open communication, what anchors us is ๐†๐จ๐โ€™๐ฌ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐. The world may offer many voices, but as parents, we are called to lead our children back to the truth that never changes. ๐Ÿ“–โœจ

โœ”๏ธ Be present in their world, but donโ€™t compromise godly values.
โœ”๏ธ Correct in love, but always affirm their worth in Christ.
โœ”๏ธ Pray with them, not just for them.
โœ”๏ธ Model the kind of faith and integrity you hope to see in them.

At the end of the day, parenting isnโ€™t about being perfectโ€”itโ€™s about pointing them to the Perfect One, Jesus. ๐Ÿ’–

Today, something beautiful happened. I accidentally came across my sonโ€™s Pre-Candidacy interview as he steps up to run for the Student Council.

As I read through his answers, my eyes filled with tears. His words were filled with so much passion, wisdom, and a heart ready to serve. โค๏ธ

I couldnโ€™t help but take a screenshot and turn it into a little artwork - a keepsake of this moment Iโ€™ll always treasure. What touched me the most was his burning desire to reach out to students who struggle with grades and those challenged by daily school tasks.

Even more moving is how he gives all credit to God in every struggle and in every victory. His faith shines through his words, reminding me that true leadership begins with humility before the Lord. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Knowing whatโ€™s inside his heart and mind as he volunteers himself to serve his fellow students leaves me in awe. This is more than leadership ...this is service.

Itโ€™s love in action. May God continue to bless this future generation, raising leaders who walk with Him and lead with compassion.

There is something so deeply liberating when we finally come face-to-face with our own brokenness.

For so long, we try to hide, excuse, or justify our flaws, but the moment we identify and acknowledge them before God, something shifts.

In our humble confessions, we lay down the weight weโ€™ve been carrying:
our pride
our guilt
our sins
and suddenly, we are no longer bound by them.

It is in surrender that true healing begins. Not because we are strong, but because we admit we are weak.

Not because we are perfect, but because we dare to whisper, โ€œLord, forgive me.โ€ And He does. His mercy washes over us, His grace restores us, and our hearts begin to heal in ways we never thought possible.

We are healing gloriously, not because of who we are, but because of who He is.

This freedom, this lightness of soul, is the sweet fruit of Godโ€™s forgiveness and love.

Salamat Jesus for your plan in our lives!

"And I will rise with Your healing. I will soar under Your wings"

This morning, while I was still in bed, I heard a knock at my door. It was my almost 16-year-old son. He didnโ€™t come in to ask for anything, he just wanted to join me. He's beside me and began sharing - updates about his day, the story we left off, and even a little about who and what has caught his interest lately.

As I held him close, I couldnโ€™t help but feel this deep fulfillment as a mother. Moments like this remind me of Godโ€™s grace. At this age, when teens often pull away, Iโ€™m thankful that he still chooses to come near, to talk, to let me in.

Iโ€™m learning that our children - especially in these teenage years - need to know that we are open, that we are their safe place, their coach, their listening ear. And I thank the Lord for allowing me to be that for him.

This bond we share, this closeness, is one of the sweetest byproducts of homeschooling. And today, my heart is simply grateful.

Sabi nga sa Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

If we find our struggle so strong, the pain was soooo unbearable... meaning.. ganun tayo ka-stubborn or kalakas sa current state natin para mabreak ng Diyos, para maiayos nya tayo. He will not use easy struggle to wake us up, he will not use people whom we don't care about the most to teach us how to be humble, forgive and love again.

He will make sure that when He tap us, it will really get into our nerve. Hindi para saktan tayo, pero para wasakin ang maling gawi natin, ang ugali nating di kalugod lugod sa kanya.

"Lord, what do you want me to learn from these..?"
"Lord, tama ka.. mali nga ako..."
"Lord, I don't know the end of this, but help me get through it".
"I surrender my life to you, not my own image to the world, but how the world will see Christ in me after this"

God is in the business of changing people.
This will only make us better, trust the process.

God disciplines His children, to become worthy to the path he has called them.

"...and for all of these.. I Praise and Thank You, Lord!"

A special sunday for all of us.

Family 2024 Vision Board - Homeschooling Journey as a family

As a family, we decided to create a vision board together for our homeschooling journey this year, with a focus on biblical principles and teachings. Applying what we have learned during our Parenting Worshop by Centris Homeschool Middle East

As a family, we will piece together a beautiful collage of our goals and aspirations, incorporating Bible verses, and images that symbolized our vision for the coming months.

It was a meaningful and creative way to align our hearts and minds as we embark on this educational adventure together.

Our vision board serves as a constant reminder of the importance of God's word in our daily lives and the values we hold dear. It will guide us in our lessons, discussions, and activities, helping to strengthen our family bond and deepen our understanding of God's plan for us. We are excited to see how this visual representation of our goals will inspire us throughout the year.

To share a few..

CALLING. A familyโ€™s vision and goal that will guide them in their homeschooling journey.
Team Morales: โ€œTo raise a well-rounded child that loves God the most and love others as themselves. To foster a love for learning; children that excels in these aspects: spiritual, emotional, physical, character and academics.

COVENANT. A familyโ€™s promise, a statement of agreement to support their vision.
Team Morales: โ€œSeek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.โ€ Matthew 6:33

COMMITMENT. A family's action point to accomplish their promise.
Team Morales: "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:6-9"
