Sunday saw a group from join us in Marsden.
A day of intentional observation and stress reduction through paddle boarding & nature therapy followed.
Paddling on the canal, on a sunny spring morning, saw group members put everyday stress on the back burner as the focused on the activity in their surroundings.
After lunch/dinner a Nature Therapy session provided a number of simple practices to encourage observation and acceptance of ‘distractions’ as circumstances. Observing plants, trees, birds and using sensory meditation practices helped lower the sympathetic nervous system activity.
Thank you to all that attended and embraced our activities over the weekend.

With a fantastic weather forecast the ascent took place on the first day of the trip, and what a day it was.
