We have been educated by a great mind with vast experience in the NPO field. Franks ability to transform not just out minds but also our hearts was evident in his passion for development. I believed in his character and the confidence he showcased throughout the training. He truly captivated our attention with all the techniques and tools we can use to transform our NPO's identity instantly. For the first time we could clearly identify and asses our organizations weaknesses and potential strengths. He has scored a beautiful goal by taking us step by step on a path to victory as NPO's.

He also hit an incredible home run when he said, " your donor is next to you."

This followed an exercise where the group was asked what they needed and if someone in the very same group of people was in possession of that product or service.

It was life changing to observe how many donors were in that room.

More beautiful was hiw many people was passionate about giving.

Frank, you are a legend.

We need you.

We need your wisdom.

This Training was done at Oasis Skills Development Centre in partnership with Young People At Work. The aim around this training was to start the journey of empowering and upskilling unemployed youth of Upington.

We like to thank Frank Julie & his Team for making this possible. The participants would testify to this great opportunity that was created for them. We wish them well and hope to roll out this very same training and more to our youth.

Hierdie een is om dankie te sê vir Charlotte De Wee by Absa se Tak in die Mall.

Ek vinnig daar in gepop nadat ek vir die soveelste keer nie Okt se maand staat van hulle Internet Bank Dienste kon trek nie. Ek was ontvang deur Engelse Dame, ek verduidelik my storie, nog skaars klaar gepraat vertel sy in Engels dat ek maar na Rowena moet gaan by die groot Tak. Ek verduidelik haar ek het al vir Rowena epos gestuur, ek tans op kurke en dorp toe nie juis opsie is nie. Sy antw, niks wat hulle kan doen nie, hulle werk nie met dit nie, sy kan ook nie bel nie want sy kry hulle glad nie in die hande nie. Geskok staan ek op en loop uit.

Bel toe Absa se landlyn nommer vra on met Bestuurder te praat, Bestuurder nie beskikbaar nie, maar Charlotte wou vriendelik weet hoe sy kan help nadat die 2de inbevel ook nie beskikbaar is nie. Ek verduidelik, en onmiddelik het sy die ekstra myl geloop, my terug genooi na tak in mall waar ek pas in Engels verduidelik is hulle kan nie help nie.

Ek draai toe terug en was baie vinnig en baie behulpsaam gehelp deur Charlotte De Wee.

Dit maak my bly om te sien ons het nog mense Soos Charlotte wat uit hul pad gaan on te help en nie die emmer aan te stuur nie. Wel gedaan Charlotte jy her my dag gemaak.

Raak ASB ontslae van daardie Engelse dame of sit haar in agterste kantoor 😃😄😀😅 👊🙏

Namens Oasis SENTRUM wil ons vandag vir Nico Faroa baie geluk wens met sy 60ste verjaarsdag. 🎂🥂🎉🎊

Ons wens Nico net seëninge op sy dag en lewens pad toe. Lekker verjaar Oom Nico Soos hy graag genoem wil wees deur die leerders.

Nico is nie net die oudste van ons leerders nie, hy is ook die langste verbonde aan Oasis wat dit ekstra spesiaal maak. (20 Jaar plus)

Nico Se bereidwilligheid en behulpsaamheid is een van die vele kwaliteite wat hy best. Geniet dit Nico. 🎊🎉🎂🥂💌

Oasis EPWP Projek 2022

Groot deel van ons fokus gaan wees om Upington skoon en netjies te maak en daar waar moontlik in pragtige tuine te omskep.

Ons vra die gemeenskap se hulp met skoon maak toerusting soos verskeie grawe, pikke, harke swart sakke, kruiwaens ensovoorts. U kan dit leen of skenk, ons sal self kom op tel by u.

As trotse Upingtoners kan ons hier saam hande vat. Die projek gee vir ons die werkers wat meer as net bereid is om te begin werk.

Saam kan ons verskil maak en Upington weer tot sy reg bring as mooiste dorp in Noord Kaap.

Eerstens BAIE DANKIE aan almal wat die eerste poging ondersteun het. Dit is wel baie min bemark en boonop was dit laat kennisgewing.

Aangesien ons die "Random Number" funksie van Excel gebruik het, was daar uiteindelik 5 in plaas van 3 wenners. Aangesien daar genoeg boeke is, het ons besluit om al 5 as pryse aan te bied en nie verder te trek nie. Een persoon (Dirkie) het sy prys afgestaan.

Ons hoop die volgende persone geniet die boek wat hulle kon kies (Hermien of haar seun moet nog kom kies):

Ons het solank ook 'n hele paar Afrikaanse boeke uit die stoor gehaal.

Ek sal dit waardeer indien julle my kan laat weet as julle van groepe weet wat kan baat by die boeke.

Ons fokus op die storie van Oasis Sentrum ontstaan, die dienste wat dit aan persone wat anders bevoeg is bied en hoe die gemeenskap betrokke kan raak.

Die Grondwet bepaal dat elke kind het die reg tot gratis en kwaliteit onderrig, hoe laat ons as 'n gemeenskap toe dat na meer as 28 Jaar word hierdie Leerders verbonde aan Oasis Sentrum se menslike regte nog steeds geskend word.

As deel van ons Fondswerwing Projekte gaan Oasis Sentrum elke Vrydag die heerlikste gebak, gekook, gebraai en sommer alles in een doen om fondse in te samel om te help met die dag tot dag uitgawes vam ons Leerders en Personeel. Hierdie is een van vele maniere hoe u kan help, deur bestelling te plaas.

Ek weet verseker vandag dat Past ND Bock geen erkening of eer soek, vir die eerste suksesvolle jaarlikse "Beneficial Gospel Show" te Oasis Sentrum nie. Hy het ingestap by Oasis die behoefte raak gesien en besluit hy gaan 'n verskil maak, op 'n manier wat net ND Bock kan.

Ons wil dus vir Past ND Bock en sy gade, die "Worship Team" alle pastore en kerkleiers wat teenwoordig was asook die verskeie jeug- en sang groepe bedank vir hul bydrae tot die suksesvolle 3 aande.

Geen weer of krag onderbrekings kon ons keer nie, want ND Bock was slag gereed met generator en alles.
