SEE YOU THEN!!!
HOW THE SPEAK-A-THON WAS JUDGED
Our judging team consisted of three:
- Zoya Mabuto-Mokoditoa (Owner of ZoyaSpeaks, Professional Speaker, Public Speaking Coach & Facilitator)
- Lusanda Mbane (Founder of ZZZ)
- Lonwabo Damane (Founder of Today 4 Tomorrow SA)
The judging looked specifically at five components and scored each contestant on each aspect, in order to reach a total score:
1. Originality: We asked you to think out-of-the-box. We looked for what said "I am different, unique and I own that."
2. Zazi. Zithande. Zithembe values: Here, we looked for the authenticity, ie Are you speaking openly and honestly and owning your story as opposed to simply telling us a list of information that you have taken from a source?
3. Clarity of thought. We asked you to take time to prepare and we gave guidance on how you should structure your talk. There is a difference between lots of waffle and a well thought out presentation)
4. Delivery: This refers to your passion, energy, inspiration and hunger - Did the delivery convince us based on YOUR conviction of your message? Was it energetic? By this we do not mean necessarily loud, but was the passion palpable? Your dream is halfway to becoming reality relative to the belief you invest in it.
5. Dress Code: We did say you need to show up. Look the part. Bring your best self forward even in terms of physical presentation. Again, we were mindful of many factors here, not simply looking at the 'bling'. We rewarded those who made the effort
ALL THE BEST!

Ingomso Lelethu - The Future is Ours
***Official Launch***
Today 4 Tomorrow (T4T) annually runs a calculator campaign for learners from disadvantaged schools who are doing Mathematics and/or Accounting. We are in our third year of this campaign, because of its success previously, we have decided to increase our pool of learners that we will raise these calculators for. This year in order to get more people involved and raise awareness of how learners from disadvantaged schools struggle with even what seems basic to the next person; we want to run the calculator campaign using the hashtag or tagline,
Targeting 1 million citizens, T4T undergoes our 3rd Annual calculator campaign to raise scientific calculators for disadvantaged high school students. With a minimum donation of R1 from each citizen, we believe we can raise over R1million to change the lives of high school students.

The programme was designed to help learners who are in Grade 12 to sharpen their academic skills pending the June examinations, post the March term tests.
We incorporated all our legs of operation in one week. The learners were lectured by professionals of the institution, tutored by well trained tutors and further received career guidance from SAICA and Prof. McGeih.
The programme was organized by T4T in collaboration with EMS Faculty of UWC.
