WELCOME BACK TEACHERS

As the custodian of the profession, Council wishes to welcome all teachers back to their respective schools. Sending our well wishes to the new term.

Dear Parent/Guardian

A myriad of emotions run through me as I pen these words. We have been through some very challenging times together: COVID-19, riots, water and electricity issues. I look back at the years since October 2018, and my heart is filled with gratitude for the manner in which we have collaborated to ensure that our children were safe and still received an educati. We overcame all these obstacles and achieved success by working together.

I will be retired from the 1st of June 2024, and Friday 31st May will be my last day at Greenbury Primary School. I want to assure you that I leave the school in very capable hands and ask that you continue to work closely with the school.

I wish to place on record my heartfelt thanks to you all for your kind cooperation and support over the years in helping our school to move forward.

Good day parents just a warning with transport drivers
This morning 2 streets away from my house, a car parked in front of one of the houses wanting to pick up the child thank God the child was running late and the mother decided to walk the child to the gate and that's when she noticed the transport driver was not the normal transport driver,it was actually a woman
And the woman tells the mom that she was sent to do the normal transport drivers errands and pick up the kids
The mom decides to call the driver and the driver says he is 2 minutes away and didn't send anyone to pick up the kids before the mom could question the woman she drove off ,luckily there was no child in the car
Especially our kids that use transport because some wait outside for their transport, especially with this whole Joshlin Smith situation happening let's take extra precaution with our kids and also speak to them not to just walk or get into strangers cars especially if they tell them they were sent to pick them up, specifically the younger ones 🙏🏼please share

Alternatively, orders can be placed on Saturday and sizes can be looked at as well.
