Throwback to our Arts Alive where our students produce stunning works. From Shakespeare to Portraits to Design Concepts, what a way to celebrate the future stars of the Arts.

Who wants to write an examination when you can put your practical skills to the test.

Our grade 8 and grade 9 students started with their practical examination in EdTech this week. Our grade 9s are making sustainable cities for the future with their own 3D printed designs, electrical circuits and coding of their micro:bits. Our grade 8s are creating board games, using 3D printed characters, a micro:bit as dice and using inkscape or canva to design cards and the board.

Another exciting theatre trip at the Baxter! Our grade 10, 11 and 12 drama students went to see the new play, ‘Delela’, on Wednesday 13/09, which was a raucous satire about issues of race and gender performed in a hilarious South African way. The show left us all buzzing and initiated some very interesting conversations - as only great theatre can do!
