An AMAZING first class with 13 students in the Advanced class, and 8 students in the beginners!! And from what I know there's more ppl starting from next week!!!

Great News!!! Our group of Junior and High School Boys has grown from 4 students to 12!!! Now with that big group of School girls we will have a promising year!!!

The Greek Dancing Academy of Cape Town will be starting lessons for Students and Adults for Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner Level. (And yes, we accept non-Greeks too ;) )
Beginners will know enough to be able to dance at any Greek event.
Advanced will know from dances as simple and explosive as the Gkainta and Karagouna, as well as the more complicated Serra and Tsesto.

A show performed for the 100-year anniversary of Lesvos' liberation from the Turkish rule. To commemorate the event, the group danced dances from Lesvos
The Greek Dancing Academy of Cape Town performed at the Palesviako Syllogo function for the 100-year celebration of the liberation of Lesvos from the Turkish rule.
The dancers performed free of charge, and the money that the Palesviako committee had put aside for the dancers was given to a charitable organisation.
