Good Morning, my name is Sydney I'm 29 years old from Strand Western Cape. I have spent the last week just waking up and taking a walk through the township, it is very sad to see kids having nothing to do but smoke w**d all day. Me and my partners decided to start a cricket team aging from 8-15, 16-20 and above. We are asking anyone with old cricket equipment that they can donate to us, doesn't matter the color nor condition of the equipment.
We have tried influencing them over the holidays towards playing cricket but with a tennis ball and home made bats and they showed a lot of interest as we now have 13 players and 9 kids.
