Dress Up as Anything Day!๐โจ
Today we practised our balancing skills๐คธโโ๏ธ๐คธโโ๏ธ
Balance allows children to control and manage their bodies. Children often run, making fast movements and having stumbles and falls. When children are encouraged to slow down they begin focusing on controlled movements. These controlled movements require concentration and critical thinking. During this moment children are given the opportunity to develop a deeper awareness of their body, how it moves, reacts and how they can control it.

Brain development in children ๐ง
Between conception and age three, a childโs brain undergoes an impressive amount of change. At birth, it already has about all of the neurons it will ever have. It doubles in size in the first year, and by age three it has reached 80 percent of its adult volume.
At Hopscotch Preschool, we realise how important these first years are and we aim to facilitate development, growth and learning.
