ATT PAY Interns 2013:
Winners of the PAY ESSAY COMPETITION will be announced on the Learning Cape Website soon! WATCH THIS SPACE!

The Mandela Day campaign message is simple: Mr Mandela gave 67 years of his life fighting for the rights of humanity. All we are asking is that everyone gives 67 minutes of their time, whether it’s supporting your chosen charity or serving your local community.

Mandela Day is a call to action for individuals – for people everywhere – to take responsibility for changing the world into a better place, one small step at a time, just as Mr Mandela did.

Today is D-DAY for all interns of 2013 to enter the essay competition. You have until midnight tonight to submit your entries.

One of our researchers, Aimee Khül, is flying the flag for the LCI as she jets off to to summer school in Helsinki on Monday.
We wish her a safe journey to Finland and hopes she has fun!
A testament to life long learning! We are proud!

We hope all of you who haven't entered the essay competition yet are still working furiously to get it in by Sunday, when the competition closes.
For those of you who have entered, THANK YOU so much.... just a quick tip.
Your character reference needs to be a WRITTEN DOCUMENT by your mentor, supervisor, manager, or school teacher of last year (or anybody else who could vouch for your personality unbiasedly. Please find an attached example of what the character reference should look like).

If you don't have it this way, no need to panic- you can still have this in by the end of day on Monday- BUT your entrees and photos MUST be submitted before Sunday or you will lose the chance to win!

Our judges are all excited to be reading your exciting stories... GOOD LUCK!
