On Monday, 23 October, our Grade 4βs had an educational in-house experience at school.
The learners got to explore outer space using Virtual Reality glasses. Giraffe House also presented an interesting animal show where the learners got to see a variety of interesting creatures such as a Tarantula, a Bearded dragon and a Python, to name just a few.
This was truly a memorable and enjoyable experience for our Grade 4 learners.

By Science Centre het hulle eksperimente gesien wat n bom en vuur insluit.

During the holiday, four karateka pupils from Aristea Primary School, participated in the Mushin Kai Karate South Africa National Championships.
Results:
DaniΓ«l Fourie (Grade 1)
5 GOLD medals and 1 SILVER medal.
Larika van der Westhuizen (Grade 1)
1 Silver medal and 3 BRONZE medals.
Luke Beukes (Grade 7)
4 GOLD medals and 1 BRONZE medal.
Cody Jacobs (Grade 7)
4 BRONZE medals.
They participated in the development divisions at the National Championships.
Three pupils stand in line to be selected to represent South Africa in Botswana during 2024!

We are very proud to announce that our Orchestra received Highest Honors (91%) at the Tygerberg Eisteddfod for the most original arrangement in children's orchestra.

This is his first year attending this football club. Tumelo has received player of the month twice this year and his coach calls him a βscoring machineβ.

The past weekend Daniel Fourie, a Gr.1 learner of Aristea Primary and member of the Karate Association Western Cape, took part in the Karate South Africa National League Championships in Bloemfontein.
He concluded the year on a high with his third national double gold medal performance.
He was unbeaten this weekend and ranked NUMBER 1 in South Africa!

The Grade 1 and 2 learners of Aristea Primary had the privilege to attend the famous Kipper Outing at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town on Friday the 25th of August.
Learners were thrilled to witness another adventure with Kipper - and this time it was underground! Learners were entranced by the amazing decor and interactiveness of the show.
As per tradition, learners were treated to a picnic at Green Point Park after the show. They enjoyed their lunches and a fun filled session at the play park. The time flew by and learners were sad to leave.
The excitement on the bus was contagious as everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. All the learners and teachers look forward to next year's Kipper Outing.

Vrydag, 18 Augustus het ons graad 1 en 2 leerders die geleentheid gekry om in die Artscape teater, die avonture van Vlooi te beleef.
Vlooi beland onder die grond met sy vriende en n nare volstruis. Die leerders was weggevoer deur die dekor en toneelspel. Gelukkig is daar altyd n gelukkige einde.
Daarna het ons in heerlike sonskynweer gaan piekniek hou by Groenpunt park. Daar het ons lekker op die gras gehardloop en op die klimrame gespeel.
Die leerders sien alweer uit na volgende jaar se Vlooi vertoning en natuurlik om in Ε groot bus te ry.

Today we showed that we as co workers have spirit! Each grade drew a special day celebrated in August, and dressed accordingly.
We ended the day by celebrating Ice Cream Day! π¦π¦π¦

Ollie is 7 maande oud en 'n baie gelukkige bokkie wat net bietjie anders lyk.π
Sy agterbene was verlam en BellaΕ guardian angels animal rescue het vir hom kans tot lewe gegee en sy agterbene laat amputeer. Nou ry hy te lekker in sy rolstoel en stop vir niemand en niks... behalwe kos!!

Ollie is a 7 months old and very happy goat that just looks a little bit different.π
His hind legs were paralyzed, and BellaΕ guardian angels animal rescue gave him a chance to live his life and amputated his hind legs.
Now he drives around in his wheelchair and stops for nothing or no one.... except for food!!
Thank you, Ollie, for teaching our Grade R's a valuable lesson. β€οΈ
