Why Smart Start Tutoring?
Our main focus is to assist children that fall behind in mainstream schools and need that extra bit of attention.
We welcome ADD, ADHD and kids on the Autistic spectrum.
What do we do?
We support Impaq curriculum and the GED program.
What is Impaq and GED?
IMPAQ is a CAPS aligned curriculum that provides an academic framework that allows each learner to work at his or her own pace. We are here to facilitate, guide and support this learning process.
The GED® offers an alternative to the conventional NSC. The GED® credential has become increasingly popular during the last few years due to the affordability and flexibility it provides. Students are eligible to write the GED® at the age of 17 and obtain their certificate. The program equips the student with a matric equivalency certificate, NQF 4, which is on the same level as a standard NSC.
Why chose us?
Smart Start Tutoring is not a school but a support system. We have small classes with one on one attention with a maximum of 10 learners per group.
I am so extremely proud to write this post!
Congratulations Abubaker for passing your final GED Exam today.

From a stunning first sentence to a perfect string of dialogue, there are certain parts of books that feel particularly memorable. And whether they make us laugh, cry, or simply reflect, these quotable lines have a habit of sticking with us long after we turn the final page.
World book day we celebrate some of these memorable lines.
“There is some good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.” — J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers
“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” — Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
“I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will, which I now exert to leave you.” — Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” — Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities
"Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful.” — Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
These two faces have changed our lives.
Thank you for all the hard work and dedication.
You will be dearly missed.
May your future adventures be bright and full of promise.
Noe, You have amazing potential and are one smart cookie! You’re going to make a real difference in this world, just by being you!
Laverne, Life is full of challenges, and one of the things that has made you successful has been your ability to master each new opportunity. Good luck with this new phase of your growth. Blow them away!
DID YOU KNOW ???
