We are an intimate, happy and safe playschool where your little one will learn through play 🤸‍♀️🏃‍♂️‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️🤸 I love my little people :)

I always had a love for children and while working at my last corporate employment at Koeberg Power station, I got involved in an orphanage, Ebenezer, in Atlantis, Thereafter I was at Home of Hope for a short while. In 2010 I started my first preschool position in Parklands Tableview as a Grade R assistant. 18 years later I am still working with little humans with ECD qualification and additional Developmental and Industrial Psychology diploma in my own Playschool.

🧚🏼‍♂️ This year at Christmas time my (almost) six-year-old granddaughter, who is a very thoughtful, curious and often analytical child, asked her parents if they were actually Santa Claus (and she really, really wanted to know the truth and wouldn’t be disappointed at all to find out). So, somewhat reluctantly, they told her that while the idea of Santa is real, because it’s all about love, they were indeed the ones who brought the presents. Lindy proceeded to say that she’d still like to leave cookies and milk out, but she’d write her note to “Mommy and Daddy Santa” now.
I was feeling a bit wistful as she was cheerfully telling me all about this, until she ended by saying, “But Nana, remember that fairies are real.” I decided that Lindy’s a pretty smart person, and if she’s come to the conclusion that fairies are real, I’m ready to keep an open mind. Right now in our world there are many disturbing things that are very hard to explain, so why not believe in something hard to explain that’s also delightful and magical?
Here’s my encouragement for today: If you’d like to believe in fairies, I’ll be right there with you. 😘 🧡
