So a about 2 weeks ago we had the wonderful opportunity to do a little photoshoot with our little ones and the result was so amazing💃. All our kiddies looked so gorgeous Thanks to Anita from Opticahobbys photography 👏👏👏.
She setup an amazing vintage scene for our kiddies. All props and photograph ideas was hers. Amazing, Amazing work, affordable and a stunning personality. ❤️

Heeey everyone, hope all is well, safe and healthy 😊🤗

What a wonderful month of March we had here at MyCare Educare. We did some exciting activities based on our theme My Body. We learnt so much about how our body works and how to keep clean and safe. We also did some extra activities like learning how to use the scissors, hold our crayons correctly and do some patterns but most of all our kiddos loved the brainy box too, we did some threading, colour building blocks, counting and construction. We were so fortunate to have had two birthdays in March. We had a fun filled Easter egg hunt day which the kids enjoyed so much especially trying to find the hidden eggs. We at MyCare Educare are looking forward to the month of April with some more fun and exciting activities lined up....🥳💃🎉🥰

We are happy to see enrollment at MyCare facility picking up and we've almost reached maximum capacity. Remember that MyCare Educare only caters to a few children and that is a pro, especially now. Hi everyone 👋. Hope all is well and keeping safe💐.

Shew! What a year 2020 has been for everyone. It's been quite an emotional and stressful year for everyone but we are hoping that things will get better and greater in the new year in sha Allah (God willing).🤲🤞

As everyone is aware, MyCare Educare has been open for business again since 5th October 2020, following all Covid rules and regulations (temperature checks, face masks, sanitizing and disinfecting areas regularly)👌. So far so good alghamdulilah (Praise be to God). We have been slowly preparing for year 2021 with regards to registeration process. MyCare Educare is filling up quickly. So do hurry to book your little ones spot🏃.

MyCare Educare offers a full daily program which includes outdoor play,story time,art activities and so much more, breakfast and lunch included(Halal meals), Aftercare from 13:30pm to 17:30 (Fridays 17:00), Grade R to Grade 7. As well as Holiday care at the most affordable and unbelievable rates 🥳😅.

MyCare Educare's focus is on a maximum group of 12 learners, ages from 1 year to 5 years old. This limited amount of learners allows us to give each child the individual attention that we feel is needed so learners can reach their full potential. At MyCare Educare we believe that kids should learn through play, whilst receiving the necessary brain stimulation and gross motor skills practice that is required for optimal growth.

Wardah Muller Essop is a qualified level 5 ECD teacher with basic fire fighting and first aid certification. She has many years of experience working in the ECD field. She also has a teaching assistant that helps with all daily activities. Wardah is a mother of 2, so she understands the importance of childcare. Here at MyCare Educare we ensure that your child will receive the best love and care 😊🤗.

We are now on day 88 of lockdown and currently on level 3. As we all face this unseen enemy Covid19. We at MyCare Educare would like to wish everyone good health, strength and lots of patience during this time. This is not an easy time for many of us as most of us are facing really hard times as micro and small businesses have been hit really hard. Many people are being left unemployed and nowhere to turn but we must continue to be strong and keep the faith. 🤲🤞

We need one another now more than ever before. We are stronger together. We will overcome this.🤗

As many of you might know MyCare Educare is a small business which focuses on a maximum group of 12 learners, ages from 1 year to 5 years old. This limited amount of learners allows us to give each child the individual attention that we feel is needed so learners can reach their full potential. MyCare Educare offers a full daily program which includes outdoor play,story time,art activities and so much more, breakfast and lunch included (Halal meals), Aftercare from 13:30pm to 17:30 (Fridays 17:00), Grade R to Grade 7. At MyCare Educare we believe that kids should learn through play, whilst receiving the necessary brain stimulation and gross motor skills practice that is required for optimal growth. We at MyCare Educare has tried our utmost best to keep our monthly fees to a minimum whilest striving to give our parents and learners the best care and love.🌺❤

There has been so much confusion to when schools and ECD centres will be allowed to operate, so for now MyCare Educare will remain closed until further notice. We are patiently waiting for the go ahead as we at MyCare Educare miss our kids dearly and wish them all well during this time. We at MyCare Educare will take all nessassary precautions beforehand to ensure we follow all Covid protocols before reopening again. As stated in President Cyril Ramaphosas announcment on government's COVID19 update on pandemic. He has informed the nation that our lockdown period will continue until 30 April 2020.(or until further notice)🤞

During this tragic time we at MyCare Educare would like to give a BIG shout out to every one of you who are, despite these challenging times, continuing to pay your ECD school fees, Thank you so much🥇. Of course, we understand that it is hard for some people to accept the situation as it is, however, we as individuals in this institution are encountering the exact same situation as parents, too. We are also obligated to pay school fees for our children. We are all currently facing difficult times. During this lockdown many cannot work and we do understand that many parents only receive payment for work done, some may have lost their jobs as a result of the Corona virus pandemic and also, micro and small businesses have been hit really hard 😔.

We wish everyone all of the best during this tragic times and ask God/Allah to make it easy for all of us, to protect all our friends and family and grant them good health 🙏🤲.

On a lighter note, We at MyCare Educare have gathered some material worksheets and ideas/activities from different sources that can help parents to keep kids busy during the lockdown period.(see below). Parents can also go on pinterest for more activities and ideas, or simply just go on Google's search engine and search for material that you prefer. I've been using both to keep my 5 year old son active and busy throughout the day. There are super awesome ideas and worksheets on both of them. Do remember when searching to always put in your kids' ages to get age appropriate materials.

Parents should also bear in mind that kids generally only need 1-2 hours of working time per day depending on their age. The most effective time to sit with young kids doing structured work is in the morning as this time is when they absorb information faster.

Dear parents.

Hope all is well, 🌹

As stated in President Cyril Ramaphosas announcment on government's COVID19 response plan in summary (See Below). MyCare Educare will be taking the following steps.

MyCare Educare recommends that learners be kept in the safety of their own homes, however MyCare Educare will not close for business and will still be operating as per normal. We understand that it may not be easy for people to just make a change like this in such a short time so you can count on us to continue to provide daycare services for your children.
Due to the seriousness of COVID19 Mycare Educare will be taking EXTRA hygiene measures and steps to ensure a healthy environment however we can only do so much, and therefore ask parents to do the same.

Should any child show any signs or symptoms of illness or flu, learners will have to be kept home and sent to be examined by a professional. The learner may return once a report has been presented, stating that the learner is fully healthy.

Should any child show any signs and symptoms of illness or flu at school parents will be called immediately and the learner must be collected as soon as possible.

Should the COVID19 continue to increase in drastic numbers MyCare Educare will be forced to close for business, however parents will be notified before hand should this matter arise.

We ask parents to please be mindful and to take this matter seriously as we have to consider many families as well as our teachers and their families too. Children are at a higher risk so we, once again, remind parents of the severity of the situation we are in.

Morning All
