How BIPA sees the future of Business

After covid-19, the whole world has changed and had to adapt to new ways of living, working and education. So did BIPA.

Thousands of companies closed down, and millions of people lost their jobs. We have seen
this before, not too long ago. in 2007, 2008 there was a worldwide economy meltdown that led to major changes in the US Housing structures. In 2009 and 2010 this economy crunch was seen in South Africa.

2011 was one of the highest company registration years in the history of CIPC (Company and Intellectual Property Commission). People stood up and became entrepreneurs overnight and within 3 years, the economy of South Africa was booming.

We are entering a similar phase now and we believe that 2022 will be a similar year. We have already seen an increase in company registration, but believe that in January and February 2022 more people will start their own businesses.

BIPA will bridge the knowledge gap for entrepreneurs that have always worked for a boss
and now need to manage their own businesses.
Statistically we have 1 700 000 possible school leavers in South Africa alone busy writing their final exams for their secondary school term.

Possibly 1/3 (+- 600 000) will not pass, 500 000 will go to universities and colleges that leave us with 600 000 young adults that will either be looking for a job or that will need to start their own business. focusing on these potential entrepreneurs will mean that they can be the start of solving unemployment in South Africa.

- The History of BIPA

Dr Victor Lemmer wrote a book in 2011 where the basic principles of being an entrepreneur, being successful in business and highlighting potential traps in business.

The book was called Business in Practice. After various attempts to publish this book, he came to realise that most publishing houses want the book changed to suite their own needs and a few years later he decided to create a business school and changed the contents of the book into a workshop for entrepreneurs.

This was the beginning of Business in Practice Academy - School of Business. after years of preparation the school was launched in Alberton, Gauteng, South Africa in January 2021.
