We’re cutting the ribbon 🎀 on a new chapter in learning at SDCCE! Come celebrate the Grand Opening of the Tutoring & Learning Center (TLC) at the Educational Cultural Complex on January 14, 2025, at 1 PM. The TLC offers tutoring for enrolled SDCCE students and is now open for High School Equivalency (HSE) testing, and scholarship application support. There will be light refreshments and opportunity drawings throughout the open house. Everyone is welcome! 🎊

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and safe holiday season! All SDCCE campuses will be closed for winter break from Monday, December 23 through Wednesday, January 1. Regular business hours will resume Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Please note that non-instructional days begin this week on December 20, and many of our campuses are closed to the public. Mid City, North City, CE Mesa, and West City campuses will have modified hours for students during winter break.
Mid-City will be open on December 20th from 8am-2pm and on Jan. 2 from 8am-5pm, Jan. 3 from 8am-2pm.
North City, CE Mesa, West City will be open on December 20th from 8 am to 2 pm.
This winter break, share your holiday traditions in a public social media post using the hashtag - you can post photos, a short description, or even make an Instagram or TikTok video - and be sure to tag in your post, too!
You are cordially invited to attend our Annual Emeritus Holiday Concert happening today, Wednesday, Dec 18th, from 1:00 PM-3:30 PM at Scripps Miramar Ranch Library. This concert will feature faculties and students mostly from our piano and guitar applied music classes of the Emeritus program. Dr. Omae, who has been a dedicated leader in the San Diego Community College District since 2014, brings over a decade of experience in higher education leadership, program management, noncredit to credit development expertise, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Omae to our leadership team. His proven track record in academic leadership, coupled with his unwavering dedication to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, aligns perfectly with the college’s values and goals.
