The Amplifying Excellence Initiative, led by Ben Solomon from AVID and our own Marissa Wicklund, spotlights educators transforming inclusive career education. These dedicated professionals are ensuring students with disabilities have the tools and confidence to succeed in their futures.

Meet the educators making a difference:
✔️ Claire Enderson (Patapsco High School, Baltimore, MD) – Advocating for inclusive career education through college and career field trips and presentations.
✔️ Marquise Anderson (The Next Step Charter School, Washington, D.C.) – Empowering students with disabilities to explore diverse career paths through culturally responsive teaching.
✔️ Linda Stewart (Cholla High School, Tucson, AZ) – Preparing students for life beyond high school through community-connected programs.
✔️ Nicole Paner (Marshall Elementary, Stockton, CA) – Introducing career exploration to young students with autism, fostering early awareness and job-ready skills.
✔️ Sara Salinas (Harold Kaffie Middle School, Corpus Christi, TX) – Pioneering career exploration initiatives for students who are deaf and hard of hearing.
